Living freely and lightly. Does this verse describe how you are living right now? If not, we want to show you how you can. It is possible to live a life above the situations and circumstances that try to weigh us down every day.
This overcoming life won’t "just happen", though. You see, life is a journey. It is a process. Although you may be a believer who has accepted Jesus as your savior and the Lord of your life, your journey is not over. You need to learn what it means to truly be conformed into the image of Christ Jesus. You need to be transformed by renewing your mind to everything that God’s Word says that you are and can be!
Jesus prayed that the Kingdom of God would come and that His will would be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Then He died so that we could experience the reality of that. He said that the Kingdom of God is in us. How priceless it is to live that way! How freeing to know that Jesus was our sacrifice in every way so that we can now live victoriously IN HIM! That’s right... if you are a believer, the Bible says that you are in Christ. That is the place where there is literally nothing missing and nothing broken. As a believer, that’s where you have been made to be.
Many churches teach religion and how to "please God". Here, you will learn the realities of a relationship with your Heavenly Father. Many churches teach you a list of things to DO so that someday God will be happy with you. Here, you will learn that the sacrifice of Jesus appeased our Father and He is madly in love with you... His child. Many churches will tell you if you don’t sin long enough, someday you’ll be righteous. Here, you will learn that you have been made the righteousness of God in Christ and when you awake to this reality, you will live a life full of His grace, far above the power of sin.
You see, our desire is that you will realize all He has called you to be. God’s best for you is not just some theory... it is truth that can be a reality in your life!
