So many believers don't even realize the true purpose of the church as the body of Christ. The "church," God's ecclesia, is supposed to be built on the revelation that Jesus is THE Christ. Culture isn't bad, and it's ok for a local body of believers to have their own unique culture. However, so much of the American church is driven by and rooted in culture, that it's lost focus on the original revelation!
